Espresso Expansion

Our clients Mark Flanagan and Jon Wilkin of Pot Kettle Black have recently expanded their thriving café and bakery brand with two exciting new openings in Circle Square and The Pollen Club!

Pot Kettle Black has steadily expanded over the years, with popular sites at Barton Arcade and Angel Gardens already well established. Recently, the team were thrilled to open two exciting new venues that mark the next chapter in their growth.

The first is a brand-new site at Circle Square on Oxford Road in Manchester, a vibrant grab-and-go cafe offering artisan pastries, fresh sandwiches, and speciality coffee. The location was chosen for its high footfall and busy city centre energy, perfect for commuters, students, and professionals wanting quality food and drink on the move.

Not stopping there, they also launched a second new concept at The Pollen Club. Housed in a shipping container next to two padel courts (a fast-growing racquet sport similar to tennis), this unique venue serves players and passers-by alike, offering quick, quality refreshments through a street-facing hatch. It’s a fun and innovative addition to their growing portfolio.

We’re delighted to see the team at Pot Kettle Black continue to build on their success. These new openings show just how much the brand has grown while staying true to its roots, great coffee, fresh food, and welcoming spaces.
