Suzanne is our Payroll Guru. Suzanne has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of payroll having refined her skills and experience over a number of years, working for several companies – and even two stints with us!
We caught up with Suzanne to find out a bit more about her.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Having two daughters, what I like to do and what I end up doing (taxi service) are usually two very different things but given the choice, my favourite type of day would be to put on my walking boots and go off to the Lakes to head up a mountain. Dragging along two very reluctant young people!
Where is your favourite place?
Best holiday ever was Sorrento in Italy. The Italians top it in terms of climate, food, drink and scenery.
What is your favourite food and the food you dislike the most?
Difficult to say just one favourite food, but I think I’d go for a roast dinner. Or actually just a plate of roast potatoes (with gravy) would be enough.
Food I dislike the most – there are a few but due to the fact that it’s hard to avoid, mayo has to top the list.
Tell me an interesting fact about yourself
I have run several half-marathons and intend to do a full one at some point…..
What did you want to do when you were growing up?
It changed on a weekly basis, but at one point I was going to juggle being an ice skater and newsreader. I think it was the variety that appealed!
Tell us about your role
I am responsible for the payroll bureau, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently, whilst liaising with clients, and ensuring deadlines are met.
