What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work, I really enjoy spending quality time with my family. We make it a priority to engage in fun activities that help us create lasting memories. One of our favorite traditions is having game nights, where we all come together to play board games, card games, or other interactive activities that get everyone involved. It’s a great way to relax, share some laughs, and enjoy each other’s company. I also love exploring new fun outdoor adventures, something that we can do together. These moments with my family are incredibly important to me, and they provide a nice balance to my work life.

Where is your favourite place?

My favourite place is anywhere where the sun is shining, especially when I’m surrounded by my family. There’s something about being outdoors in beautiful, warm weather that brings a sense of peace and joy. Whether it’s a beach, a park, or a waterpark, I love being in the sun and spending time with the people I care about. We often take trips together to places where we can enjoy the sunshine. The warmth of the sun combined with the laughter and connection I share with my family makes it the perfect environment for creating happy memories.

What is your favourite food and the food you dislike the most?

My favourite food is definitely paella. I absolutely love rice dishes, and paella is the perfect combination of flavours for me. As for foods I dislike, I don’t have many strong aversions, but I’m not particularly fond of sweet potatoes.

Tell me an interesting fact about yourself

An interesting fact about me is that I have a deep passion for extreme sports. My journey into motocross began in 2021, when I decided to challenge myself by learning how to ride a motocross bike. It was a completely new experience for me, but I quickly became hooked on the thrill and excitement of navigating rough terrain and mastering the bike. The learning process was intense, requiring a lot of patience and practice, but the sense of freedom and adventure I get when riding is unmatched. Before getting into motocross, I had already explored the world of combat sports. I trained in boxing, MMA, and Muay Thai, each offering a unique set of challenges and skills. These sports helped me build both physical strength and mental toughness, and they’ve been incredibly rewarding in terms of personal growth. Overall, I love sports that test my limits and push me to improve, whether it’s on the bike or in the ring.

What did you want to do when you were growing up?

When I was growing up, one of my biggest aspirations was to become a fitness instructor. I’ve always had a strong passion for physical activity, and I imagined myself helping others achieve their fitness goals and lead healthier lives. I loved the idea of motivating people, designing workout routines, and being a part of their journey toward a healthier lifestyle. However, as I matured and discovered more about my strengths and interests, I realized that I also have a deep love for numbers and organization. From an early age, I enjoyed working with figures and solving problems, which led me to pursue a career path in payroll.

Tell us about your role

In my role at Jon Davies, I manage and am responsible the payroll bureau, which involves overseeing all aspects of payroll processing for our clients. This includes calculating wages, deductions, benefits, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. One of the aspects of my job that I really enjoy is the diversity of the queries I deal with on a daily basis. Every day brings new challenges, whether it’s answering questions about pay discrepancies, explaining benefits or tax deductions, or helping clients with their auto enrolment duties. The variety in these queries keeps my work dynamic and engaging, as I’m constantly learning and adapting to meet the needs of our clients. Overall, I find a lot of satisfaction in being the go-to person for payroll-related inquiries and in making sure that our clients are supported and well-informed.
