Client Manager (LD)
Louise Davies FCA brings lots of experience to the team, meaning that she can answer all those hard tax questions.
Louise also qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1998 with PricewaterhouseCoopers. She met Jon at college while they did their finals!
She had a long career in the financial sector, including 12 years at RSA Insurance where she worked in a variety of finance roles. She then worked with Jon at MJF for a couple of years before the move to Jon Davies Accountants.
We caught up with Louise to find out a bit more about her.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I like spending time with my two little girls, Beth and Anna. When I’m not spending time with the girls, I like spending time completing puzzles.
Where is your favourite place?
My favourite place is Rome.
What is your favourite food and the food you dislike the most?
My favourite food is chocolate and my least favourite food is cucumber – it’s basically just water, so what is there to like?
Tell me an interesting fact about yourself
I have a degree in Latin and Ancient Greek from Oxford.
What did you want to do when you were growing up?
I had lots of different ideas about what I wanted to do, none of which was an accountant. One of the main ones was to be a teacher.
Tell us about your role
I’m a Client Manager, so I have a portfolio of clients that I will look after and, if they have any questions, they contact me to look after them.
What do you like about working at JDA
Mainly it’s the clients. I like being able to meet a wide range of people as the list of clients varies so much. I like giving advice and helping some of the smaller businesses expand and grow.
