Emily Brumskill is our Marketing Intern currently in her final year of studying Business Management at the University of Liverpool. Her role involves updating the marketing channels and creating innovative ideas for marketing projects, putting into practice marketing theory learnt at university.
We caught up with Emily to find out a bit more about her.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work I enjoy going shopping with friends as I am a self-professed shopaholic, I also love to travel and experience new places. Additionally, I enjoy spending time with my family and, of course, my two dogs Elvis and Tilly.
Where is your favourite place?
My favourite place is Florida because I used to visit every year when I was younger, I absolutely love the hot weather, shops, beaches and theme parks.
What is your favourite food and the food you dislike the most?
My favourite food is my nans scouse with crusty bread or lasagne and garlic bread, the food I dislike the most is anything with fish.
Tell me an interesting fact about yourself
Since the age of four I was an Irish dancer and used to compete regionally.
What did you want to do when you were growing up?
From a young age I always wanted to be a professional dancer and then as I got older, I aspired to be a journalist or a teacher.
Tell us about your role
My role involves updating the current marketing platforms, enhancing social media presence, networking at local events meeting existing and potential new clients, and working on exciting new projects.
