Amy Ladd supports our Client Managers in preparing accounts and tax returns, and helps all of our clients in any way she can. She has recently just graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with an Accounting and Finance Degree and is enjoying expanding her knowledge here at JDA.
We caught up with Amy to find out a bit more about her.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Spending time with my family is my priority. I love travelling and trying new things.
Where is your favourite place?
My favourite place is Florida – especially Disney World and Universal Studios. I’ve been 3 times and am looking to go again next year. I’ve always wanted to go to the Dominican Republic, Maldives and to tour around America.
What is your favourite food and the food you dislike the most?
To be fair, there isn’t much I wont eat but my favourites have to be cheese burgers and pasta. My least favourites are definitely mushrooms and seafood!
Tell me an interesting fact about yourself
I was born with a big strawberry mark on my head which looked as though someone had stuck a strawberry on my head!!
What did you want to do when you were growing up?
Well there’s no doubt about the fact I wanted to be a princess! In secondary school I actually thought about many different things I wanted to do, for example doctor, beautician and primary school teacher.
Tell us about your role
I prepare accounts and I complete VAT and tax returns. I liaise with clients to meet their needs and offer advice. My day is never the same!
What do you like about working at JDA?
I love that there is so much to learn to expand my knowledge and the opportunity to complete a variety of tasks. Also, everyone in the team is so welcoming and helpful!
