Hannah Jones supports the whole team on the accounts and tax work. Hannah is currently in her final year at Liverpool Hope University but spends her Fridays in the exciting world of accountancy at JDA.
We caught up with Hannah to find out a bit more about her.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I enjoy reading, swimming, listening to music both live and on headphones, and also spending time with my friends and family.
Where is your favourite place?
My favourite place is Florida, where I have been on many family holidays, but anywhere that is sunny is fine with me.
What is your favourite food and the food you dislike the most?
My favourite food is calamari – if I ever see it on the menu then most of the time I order it. My least favourite is liquorice
Tell me an interesting fact about yourself
When I was younger I swam competitively for a club for 9 years but decided to give it up so that I could concentrate on my A-level studies. I managed to make it to regional level before deciding to give it up.
What did you want to do when you were growing up?
When I was younger I was constantly changing my mind about what I wanted to do – it would change from a lawyer to a teacher and then finally a doctor.
Tell us about your role
I am currently doing a work placement for JDA. The rest of the team gives me various different tasks to do each week.
What do you like about working at JDA
Everyone has been very friendly and helpful. All the work has been varied as I have done something slightly different each week to get a better idea of all the aspects involved with accounting.
